Gypsy what you described is exactly how I feel. When I turn over in bed sometimes or turn I get a shapr kind of pulling, mine too is my right. It feels like it's in my ribs and sometimes takes my breath away. I read somewhere that dissovable stitches take ages to go? Don't know if that's true. I see my ps Monday, I'm going to mention it. I know what he'll say"give it time" it's only been 5 weeks."
The way he's done the stitches looks like the end of the stitcing is on the outside of the right, but the outside of the left is towards the middle. On the ends where it looks like the stictching has finished. The scar is more raised. I don't have issues with the left, just the right. Do you think this could be the reason?

I wanted a lift after explant and I now know why they don't do them. You would really have to have an amazing amount of tissue, because your boobs are very flat from where the tissue is compressed. I can only imagine what a disaster it would be to try and get some decent shape from them. Not a good idea. Also I'm 5 weeks, It could be done now because evrything is filled out, but I'm happy with the way they are. You will be too. Try not to worry too much x The option's always there if you feel different afterwards x x

Plasticnation, don't listen to a word they say. Brownie and carokfer are right. I looked at getting mine out last year and was told pretty much the same thing. I bottled it only to be told in Jan that mine were pips. What does my head in now though, is the clinics had the information 21 months before the story broke and did nothing so that means that last year when i went to see them. They knew then that there was a possibility I had pips and still tried to put me off! Disgusting really! Letting me walk out of there while what could potentially be a time bomb! As your self, in 10 years time, you'll still have to come to this decision again. Is it worth your health, month or stress. One of the women on the explant site said that one of the other implants women are now getting was implanted into women, I was supposed to have been monitored, these women were supposed to be checked over a period of 10 years and guess what? they haven't. this isn't a story to scare you either. There's a lady on there who is one of those "guinea pigs" left to rot! Please think carefully, get your head round your decision first, if you can tell yourself to expect worst case. I think you'll find yourself surprised. Maybe even think about getting them out and see how you feel. if you are reall unhappy, let your body heal and go back under the knife.
I think we were all unhappy, having children has a massive effect on your body. I hated my boobs before my ba, hated them with implants bu am growing to love my new boobs. Yes they're not perfect but then what is? x

    Carokfer,
Maybe once the drains are finally out you could strap yourself up and see if that helps. I wore 2 bras, (killed my scars) but the fluid didn't come back, don't know if this was coincidence or not. Wore them night and day.
    Also are you on antibiotics?
Good luck for tomorrow hunny x x
