I think smartlipo is the best choice. Regular lipo you will not get any tightening. I am still in the healing process, and the results haven't reached the point that I am satisified with, but it will be much easier to go in for a touch up with smart lipo rather than conventional lipo. The biggest advantage is not having to go under general anesthesia. I believe my doctor will work with me until I am satisfied with the results. You may not have the same issues as me. I lost 90 pounds before getting the smart lipo. I was not very nice to my body over the years, so I have to be realistic about what can be achieved. I am ecstatic with my arms, although I will probably have a little more removed along with skin shrinkage. Hope this helps.

I am planning my next area for Smart lipo. It is great! I first had my arms done, which it could be up to a year before the end result is known, but already a huge difference. Three weeks ago this Friday I had outer thigh, anterior thigh, and knees. I've noticed a difference, but not as quickly as the arms for me. I think my clothes are fitting much nicer. Next I will have my upper and lower abs done, more for skin tightening than anything. I've lost 90 lbs and am excited about fixing some of the damage to my poor body. I would like to have my posterior thighs done as well. I didn't notice how big they were until the Dr. decreased the size in the other areas. I may need some touch ups in 6 to 12 months if things don't tighten easily, but what do you expect from a 90 lb weight loss. I am thrilled that I don't have to have traditional lipo as this would not look as well due to no skin tightening. If anyone needs any advice, let me know

Thanks for the pics. I had my surgery 2/17 and I am doing fantastic. I believe it will be awhile before they look how I want them to, but I had no bruising and did not require ANY pain medication. I am going to set up an appt for ant thighs, lateral thighs, and knees this month.

Your arms look great! Have they improved even more since the surgery. I am having my arms done 2/17/2009. I am so nervous. I am a nurse, you'd think I wouldn't be this nervous. Could you possibly show me some new pictures.? Thanks
