    Hi aNewLook, I am doing great, yesterday it was 4 months since I had it done. Every one says I look at least 10 yrs younger :o))) every day it will get better for you, be patient, take care, ejcsrac

    hi Cindy51, I didn't say I 'walked' out of there, I was wheeled in a wheel chair to the curb where they helped me get into our car, my husband picked me up. My face was also very swollen and bruised. I felt VERY uncomfortable, because everything was sooo thight across my face and neck. I am 2 months post op now and most of the swelling is gone, I still have some numbness under my chin and in front of my right ear. The scars have healed and I expect a year from now they'll just be fine lines under my hair. I am still very happy that I had it done.

    Hi 2trusting, and here is another 'unbelievable' fact: I got thru the aftermath/recovery with out a prescribed pain med. I had over the counter Tylenor Extra Strength, took them every 4-6 hours around the clock and after day 4 I was finishd with them too. The Dr. offered to prescribe pain meds, but I told him I wanted to try with otc , if it got too bad, I could call them to have a pain med ordered at my pharmacy. Maybe I have a high tolerance for pain, having RA most of my life... but these are my facts.

    Hi uglyscars, yes, I must have bee very high and out of it. To tell you the truth, reading your posts and others, I am VERY glad that I was! what was done to you seems barbaric! take care...
