yes i have raised tendons. They went down but are still there a year later.I notice them but nobody else does. the whole hooded thing and tightness does go. i couldnt shut one eye for nearly 2 months and tried not to freak out about it. This forum kept me sane! The tendons dont get more pronounced.. as the swelling goes down they start to vanish. Having said that, they are the only visible remains of the op a year later and my eyes are SO much better than before the op that I dont regret it for one minute. It does look as tho the surgeon started too far into the corner as you said but as he did the same with others and they have no 'webbing' I think its just our bad luck. But really, once my make up is on, its only noticeable to me. people say massaging helps. Good luck!
the swelling took AGES to go on my eyes, one loads more than the other..two months after i still had swelling but it did go eventually....loads worse in the morning..I had to wait a few hours to take my dark glasses off even at 6 weeks. A year on I am very happy - no tightness, no swelling hardly any scar. i think it was well after 6 months when it finally all settled. Good luck!!
it really will improve, mine were totally uneven but a year later they look exactly the same- it took over 6 months for the lumps on one eye to go but they did. Hang on in there!!. two identical wounds on the body will heal at different rates.
you need more than that if you dont want anyone to know!!! i had 6 weeks of visible puffiness and bruising...some people have less but at least 2 weeks anyway
