Fraxel C02 Done, Some Complications - Florida

I had the Fraxel Repair done in January. I have started to hyperpigment now, trying to stop it with hydroquinone. I am also on Obagi. I developed skin infection after the procedure by using the "generic" valtrex ~ use the REAL VALTREX. I ended up in the hospital. My hyperpigmentation loves darken where my skin infection sores were. I would try IPL or the lesser fraxel refine or restore. The Fraxel Repair is much more invasive, my down time was over 3 weeks due to my skin infections and sensitivity to the procedure.

Taking Valtrex: I started Valtrex the day before the procedure. AND my dermatologist requires the REAL Valtrex, not the generic, does not work the same.

Being out in the sun: From here on out, you need to apply 30 spf forever, keep it in your purse.
