My Journey - Dallas, TX

I am scheduled for 2/15/12 and I am excited/nervous/anxious/scared/feeling guilty all at the same time. I defiantly am a good candidate for the surgery sfter two pregnancies with large babies my stoamch is a mess. :) I am 5'3 and weigh 145, so my weight isn't bad.

I am exactly 2 weeks PreOp today and I have been making some notes of questions that I want to ask the nurse, but I thought I would ask here first.
1. How long should I expect to sleep propped up with the wedge behind me and knees propped up?
2. When can expect to wear my normal work clothes (business casual) or jeans after the surgery? Should I plan to buy dresses to wear for a while?
3. Also, my surgeon's office mentioned wearing underwear that is beneath the incision, but I read from others that they wore (granny panties) for a while.

Thanks Kiva. I will be in the hospital for 2 days and will return home to my hubby and my mom there for a full week. The girls will be at school for the oldest and the sitter for the youngest. I am planning on returning back to work after at the two week mark. I have a desk job, is two weeks pushing it?

I am 2 weeks before my TT. I am a 33 yo mom of two and I am excited but nervous. My girls are 6 and 1.5 years old, I am a little concerned that my baby will have a hard time not having me there to fully take care of her like I do. Although my hubby is great ans supportive, there is nothing like mommy. :) Feeling a little guilty, but I'm sure that's normal. Anyt tips to prepare myself.
