  Thank you so much Jane for your response. I am going to see Dr. Schwarcz tomorrow for a consultation.
  Would you mind telling me who your original p is that you're seeing for cortizone shots? I have a feeling that cortizone may be the best way for me to address my particular situation and my ps reused to administer it when I requested it. She did not want to admit she made a mistake with the placement of the fat and therefore did not address any of my concerns. Thank you Jane.

  I went to see Dr. D in Ct for the original graft. I believe UTBP had seen her & she was smart in not pursuing any treatment with her. Dr. D has her own aesthetic and vision in how things should look, regardless of what you tell her you want. She's been good with some, but not in my case--nor in many other cases.
  I had seen Prasad in NY for a consult. I'd be weary of him as well. I did not get a good vibe from him. I feel as if was selling himself a bit too hard. Any good doctor will let his work speak for itself & not try to sell you some bogus treatment that may or may not work.
  As far as the ultrasound is concerned--it's not Ulthera. I had met as well with one of the leading Ulthera Drs in NY. He was on the committe that did all the studies for the development of Ultherapy. He himself had told me, as Jane noted, that there is no way to control how deep the treatment will go & what layers it will & will not effect. He actually was unclear how it will be used to treat a bad & lumpy fat transfer & emphasized the point that I might atrophy. It will either do too much or not do anything at all, at $3000 a pop!
  I've spent a small fortune getting consultations from various doctors in NY, and will continue to do so until I find someone with a solution that makes the most sense to me. And is least invasive and 'experimental'. It is my face after all.

  Has anyone tried ultrasound to reduce the fat?
  I just met with a Dr. in NY who has used it successfully on 'victims' of bad fat transfers. I'm going for my first treatment next week.
  Does anyone recommend any other doctor in the NY vicinity who will attempt to fix my lumpy cheeks and upper orbital area ?
