I did great. I'm a manager so I am up and down all day. In fact, I really did not have much swelling at all until my 3rd week. It may be the fact that I told my dr how scard I was of swelling because I looked like the michlen man with both of my babies. They told me since I knew I can swell easy they would not use as much fluids on me.
On the 3rd week I was on my feet all day in heels and I noticed my stomach was feeling tight at work. When I got home and took off the garment I looked 6 months pregnant. But the next morning it was gone. I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow and I swell a little by late afternoon. Dr said this will happen from time to time depending on the activity level for the next couple months.
As far as returning to work...I still had both drains so I wore baggy pants. Once the drains were gone I was feeling great. No one at work knows about my operation so I had to pull it off and did.
I did have muscle repair, TT, lipo. I had surgery on a Tuesday.
Well the office just called and asked if I had any last min questions or concerns. This staff is great! I'll post some b4 pix tonight. I just wish I knew how much swelling and where all u may swell at. When I was pregnant I inflated everywhere and I remembering it hurting to walk and stretch my feet out. I'm hoping u only swell where they do the work at. This will be a long night for me.
I'm using Dr. Pratt. They seemed to be the only people who took my panic attacks seriously and address all my fears. See I pass out very easily...like every time I go to the denist they have to gas me. so I m like the worlds worse patient. I'm not so worried about tomorrow as I am all the recovery issues that i'll have questions on. Like is this normal, should this be like that and issues like that. I hope and pray I come through this well and stay calm. No one but my mom and husband knows I'm getting it done. I will keep u all posted. I'm getn a TT with lipo to the bra rolls and inner thighs.
