Reviews like this should be marked as "fake" unless proven otherwise. It just seems to fake, no details, no pics, etc. People need more info and pics to feel comfortable.

Woah! I can't believe they injected this in your tear trough area! That's a huge no no. This stuff is not meant to ever be injected in that area, WAY to risky since it can't be dissolved. This stuff can last for a very long time and in the tear trough area, I can only imagine it lasting 2+ years easily. Restylane is seen lasting two years in some patients (in the tear trough area) and is said to last only 6-9months in other areas.

Any and every doctor on realself will say NOT to inject Radiesse in the tear trough. If you are reading this review make sure you educate yourself on this!

I'm not a doctor but from what I've researched the doctor should be injecting the filler right at the orbital bone... not above the bone (where the eye would be located). Also, the injection should be right on top of the bone. Not in the muscle or in the skin area. He said he " injected superficially in all areas". That tells me that he has no clue what he is doing. In ALL areas? He shouldn't have a syringe in his hand!

Hey rhon518 and Msdevine, can you explain how the injector injected the restylane? Like did he/she make a lot of injection points or did he/she move the needle around alot while in your skin? I'm starting to wonder if a certain method of injection is causing less bruising. Did they have you ice your face afterwards or some other method to reduce swelling?

I contacted a Medispa in upstate Delaware and they said that there WOULD be downtime with a restylane injection in the eye area. I thought the whole purpose of restylane was because there would be practically no downtime. To make things even more scary she said that the bruising could lasts days to weeks and the swelling would lasts a few days longer than the bruising. I don't know, that doesn't sound reassuring to me. :(
