Thank you Ana! I had planned on updating this a lot more along the way, but I didn't realize there was seperate sections for men's and women's reviews. I was notified a couple days after I posted mine that I put it in the wrong section. Not a big deal, the recovery went much better than I expected. I thought I'd be looking for a lot more info day to day on how I'd be feeling, but I was up and about almost immediately. Just thought I'd do one final update for any men out there who may come across this site looking for a review. Thank you for the support!
Thank you! I only wore a compression wrap around my waist to hold my skin in place if I was going to go for a jog. I'm not sure if it did anything to shrink the skin. Being 6' 9", I got pretty lucky there wasn't a lot of excess skin after losing 210 lbs. I'm going to try and post some better pics once I get the drain lines out and can stand a little straighter.
My recliner has also been the most useful tool in my recovery so far. The nurses put an anti-nausea sticker behind my ear prior to the surgery. They told me it would last 3 days but I could take it off after one day. Wish I would have just left it on for the full 3 days. Good luck tomorrow, you'll do great!
