I felt a little coolness a during the first 10 minutes or so. Then, it literally became numb and remained that way for the rest of the treatment. The area stayed numb for a good two weeks, which I was told was to be expected. I had no discomfort or pain at all with the procedure. It really is a very easy procedure. A good cleaning at the dentist is more uncomfortable :-)
I just posted this on another question. I was considering Thermage for tightening my face but was told(not by a doc) that it can actually melt the fat or plumpness out of your face. So, I am going in for face fillers. I have been told that they will plump the face and make it tighter just b/c there is additional volume under the skin. I will let you know how it goes....

I had the same experience with Velashape...PAINFUL and I looked like someone had taken a bat to my legs....totally bruised. I too stopped my treatments and used my money towards laser hair removal. I am considering Thermage on my "muffin top" Are you happy with your results still?
