Be very careful with kenalog, it leaves a nice dent and can be permanent.
Have your doc use like 2% only and then have it re-done 2 weeks later if the lump is still there- and then again in a month.
I am still left with a large lump under my eyes - I think it's been 8 years, that lump is not going anywhere!
This all being said, sculptra today is a different product then what I had 8 years ago. Also keep in mind
that people with immune issues could have more problems with lumps- how good your injector is and where it's injected have to be considered. The product is difficult and thus raises the risk for problems.
I am so sorry you are having issues and hope you can get some help.

I just wanted to remind people that a 'Master Injector" using Sculptra doesn't mean crap...
Its the product and the possible reactions in certain individuals - no matter how 'master' the doctor is..
In my opinion the product is unpredictable - Its better since they have watered it down but . If you get a lump you will be kicking yourself for a LONG time
... and don't expect your 'Master Injector' do be there for you if something goes wrong. They'll blame you... Its a total riot how this works...
This is a semi- permanent product and that means the
lumps are semi- permanent too.
There are risks with these fillers but this filler has long lasting results...
Its the peri-orbital area that is the problem, don't let a doctor use it there... Jowls are best for this product.

kooie
Yeah I am happy to hear they went back to the drawing board. I am still disfigured , one eye is not normal and I doubt it ever will be.
I don't get the e-mails I used to get from freaked out disfigured people so I know they changed how the stuff is given and you'll be just fine I am sure!
Oh how I could just kick myself for ever letting that doctor talk me into sculptra!

Very interesting Tom. Thanks for posting this. I believe this will give many hope.
I am not sure in my case as its been 5 years but I may contact this doctor and I live in Northern Ca and could get to this guy easily...
I have one very stubborn lump that just will not go away.
How I wish I had seen this 5 years ago... How I wish I had never been talked into having it under my eyes.
I think this doctor is wise in NOT putting it under the eyes.
good guy!
