I did look pretty bad, didn't I? My friends said they would not have recognized me! My skin is definitely softer and smoother. I may have a Lifestyle or Biltmore Lift next and probably will do another Fraxel Repair one day, too!
I'm sorry you are not happy with the Fraxel repair. It's not an easy thing to go through and then not have the results you expected. What does your doctor say?
I don't blame you for being afraid after seeing the pictures - I think I looked like a burn victim and it is very scary to look in the mirror and see this wondering if you have ruined your face. Yes, I think it is worth it and would probably even do it again in the future! Let me know how you are doing. TERESA
I see a difference in the texture and color of my skin and have heard that it is estimated you will see the ultimate results using the following formula: for each decade of life = one month of healing, so for me that would be 5 1/2 months - I'm 55. Sunday will be the one month mark for me. I don't regret having it done, but it was a much bigger deal (for me)than my doctor's office led me to believe. Send me a private email if you would like. T
I would love to see an up to date pic. The comment that your doctor made about maximum improvement being measured in months correlating with decades of life is a good one and I hope it's true! Sunday (2/12/12) will be the one month mark for me and I'm 55, so in four and a half months I should look awesome!
