Wow has this thread grown! Just goes to show how many people are getting adverse reactions to Botox! How can they advertise is as such a safe product? I can't tell you how many Botox parties I've been invited to! Of course, I'll NEVER do it again! I tried it 3 times (2 times in a row and the last with a year between) and each time got a severe headache (I called it the "vice" because it felt like a vice was gripping each side of my head). I also had weird heart palpitations. I'm not sure why I even tried it again after the first time...I guess I wanted to beleive that I some how got sick coincidentally at the same time as the Botox. And, probably because everyone I talked to said it couldn't be the Botox...even my Dr! I've learned to stay away from this toxic substance (even "tox" is in the name!). I'd rather have a few wrinkles in my forehead and feel healthy!

Btw...the headache will gradually go away as the Botox wears off. Hang in there!

I feel completely back to normal now...it sucks but you'll have to wait it out! It took about 4 weeks before I started to feel better.

I had dysport yesterday (the new botox) and also have a terrible headache. Along with the nasty headache I also am having heart palpitations and insomnia. Anyone else experiencing this??

I just had Dysport yesterday...it's currently 3 am and I'm unable to sleep due to the severe heart palpitations I'm having. I say DON'T do it! I also tried Botox and felt bad, but convinced myself it was all in my head. I thought I'd try Dysport, but am very sad I did.

I just had Dysport (the newest Botox) yesterday morning and am now up at 3:00 am having heart palpitations. It's impossible to sleep since everytime I start to doze off I feel like I have to gasp for air and then my heart starts to beat quite fast. It feels like my heart rate drops too low and then has to catch up. Needless to say I wont every get Dysport or Botox again. I just want this to go away!
