I have hanging skin inside my thighs and it looks like old "turkey skin" that hangs from the bird's neck. I thought about tape and rubber bands to pull it up tight...ha, ha! Skin does not bounce back in certain places. I am happy to hear you did not regain the weight. I am sorry for your lack of tone. Try looking into supplements that are good for elasticity and collagen of the skin and exercise. I bet you are still beautiful!
I had the most recognized plastic surgeon in Indianapolis. Fabulous facility with all the bells and whistles and a price tag to go along with all of it. I could haved lived with my thighs, I cannot live with the stranger in the mirror. I am no longer recognizable and my waist and hip measurements are identical. I look like a human tube sock. My arms are like Popeye's and my neck...it had to go up 4 inches at least. My face...it is somebody else for sure. If you could still recognize the old face, it would be a blessing at this point. However, I am totally a different person. I hate the me I now am and losing weight is tough. I cannot believe I look this different at the same pre-lipo weight. The body fights back when we abuse it. I would like to have the cannula and that surgeon for about 30 minutes. Bless all of you who learned the hard way. Tell your friends and family not to damage their bodies this way. They just don't blast through fat cells, they get into nerves and everything else inside your bodies. They are reckless and money hungry and we are victims of women whose pictures are all photoshoped in magazines and movies. Don't let men set the standards for us women. They sure don't get the beating women get as they age or gain weight. Who do they think they are? I still have my mind and my aqua eyes and the rest we'll just have to work on in 2012.
I had liposuction of love handles, inner and outer thighs and inside knees. They took off about 10 pounds and stopped after they punctured my lung. I have a large bulge at my waist where they stopped. I nearly bled to death in a motel and gasped for air all night light with a collapsed lung. I gained the 10 pounds back plus another 5 pounds. I always had a youthful slim upper body with long neck and great facial bones and nice athletic arms. Always had a very slim midriff and little or no stomach. My thighs were the worst of it. Now, I have monster fat upper arms that nothing fits. Huge ugly droopy breasts, a thick neck and a fat face. Yes, my hips and thighs are the same, but my upper belly is huge. Nobody told me I would look like a freak if I gained the weight back. I have scar tissue everywhere and dead areas with no feeling. They said I was very fibrous and a difficult case. I wished I had never heard of liposuction. Didn't help my marriage one bit and my husband thinks I have lost my looks. Do not do it. I could have dieted the weight down.
