My PS won't let me ever do sit ups or crunches again. I had a massive separation in my abs so he doesn't want any strain on that area. I didn't really have much swelling at all after surgery so that's never been an issue for me. I also didn't have any lipo. I don't know if that was a factor or not.

I couldn't believe it when I realized I was 1 year post-op! I feel great. I can do most anything now. I don't do a lot of ab exercises. My PS advised me to not do anything other than yoga or planks. I can't do crunches or situps or anything of that sort. I do still have numbness all the way down the front. It's not as weird of a feeling anymore because I am used to it. I have put on a bit of weight since the surgery but my tummy is still as flat as ever. I am so happy with my decision to do this. I have no regrets!

I haven't gained enough stomach strength to do my pre-op workouts. I am trying. I can keep up with everything except abs. My PS told me not to do sit-ups or crunches ever again. But I can do yoga, planks, isometric abs exercises... But now, I struggle with planks and push-ups. My abs feel like I'm being stabbed. The pain is mostly at the top near my breastbone. I try to push through it, but it's hard. The rest of my workout is the same as before surgery.

As for my scar, it looks great. It's pretty thin and not really raised. I am using a silicone scar cream I purchased from my PS. It was really expensive so when this is gone, I will probably just stop using it.

Appetite is the same as before surgery. I have gained some weight so I'm starting to change my eating habits. I need to lose about 10 lbs.

I'm so sorry about all you're going through. I know my PS doesn't charge for touch-ups in the office after surgery. I'm shocked you want to go back to her to get your breasts redone. It doesn't seem like she's given you the best care to date. But maybe it's just that we hear all the bad stuff. :-)

My PS had me sign something before surgery that outlined what was covered afterwards and what I had to pay for. So there were no surprises. It detailed what was considered a revision and what he would do for free. Did you get anything like that? Maybe go back through your paperwork. I would assume something like that would be covered.
