Hey sparkiling26, just wanted to offer my support. I am also an African american female about 3months into my recovery...I wasn't in love with my nose for the first few wks but I gave it time and didn't speak poorly of surgeon and now my nose is favorite feature...so I understand your thought process...with that being said, my honest opinion is that this surgeon didn't do a good job. As the swelling subsides it will look better but still probably won't produce the results you were looking for...time will tell...you are still very swollen

No I don't...the crusty nose will get better, I basically do what your doing

My swelling went up and down for the first wk mostly in the am
