I can completely understand, Valerie, why you are seeing a therapist. This definitely has rattled me as well. But it will pass; it just takes a lot of time. I only had some creepiness around the eyes. And the good news is that healed before the puffiness/swelling did so hopefully your recovery will happen quickly.
I am basically 5 months out and finally almost back to normal. For me, the lymphatic drainage is helping. Plus I am a runner and ran a long race this weekend, which I also think reduced the swelling. So there is hope, even if it takes time. And I sooo hope that you all see vast improvement at the three month, not five month, mark!!
Hi Valerie: I think it is enormously comforting that the Dr said it was not permanent. That definitely is reassuring! Do his words make you feel better at all?
And one question: what is the Lumiere supposed to do? Thanks!
