thanks for your reply. I wondered how you had healed, because your pictures could be me. I had the same outer thigh area done. My doc was a bit more aggressive and ironically, I feel the opposite of you- I think he could have been a bit more conservative. I used to think of myself as a curvy girl and I kind of miss my curves. Overall though, I'm happy with my size and contour, but I also have a few lumps/bumps. I'm beginning to wonder if EVERYONE end up healing that way. It does make me wonder whether it was worth it because, although I was curvier than ideal, at least my curves were relatively smooth. I kind of feel more self-conscious now about the lumps. If you do have touch-ups, will you update us and let us know how it goes? I'm nervous about ending up with more lumps. Not sure what the best method is. I've seen three docs about it, and all have completely different approaches for fixing it. Thanks for your posting- it certainly has generated alot of discussion! :)

Could you share you doctor's name? I assume you researched this since you are a physician yourself and found someone you knew you could trust. Despite your complications, it sounds like you will be happy with your results in the long run. Those of us in Massachusetts would love to know who you chose to do your surgery. Thanks for sharing.
