How'd the photos look? While I was in consult with Dr. C I did ask him the chances of it going wrong, he did tell me about every 1,000 or so, something does go wrong. It's a risk you have to take.
I'd say go to the consult, trust your gut, is anything feels weird, don't do it. When I went to a few consults, one person I went to, I thought was really good, but I had this weird feeling about it. I thought it was nerves, but I decided to cancel the appointment. I'm really glad I did. I also would check out other surgeons as well, you've got time to do so. Do those people have reviews on here? Have they offered pictures?
Sorry for the late reply, and no, I did not find it odd only because when I went into the consult, he told me exactly what he was going to do and I agreed. All the other doctors that I met with, asked me what I wanted to do, which it's hard for a person to say exactly. Also, the other doctors did offer digital imaging, but the fact that they didn't tell me what they'd do turned me off. I'd rather have someone look at me and tell me what they're planning on doing than having me tell them. Does that make sense? I felt completely comfortable.
