advil won't work. Ask the doctor that did the procedure for neurontin. I know this may sound weird, but spanks help as well. It may feel numb and weird now, but sharp needle like pains may follow and lasted about 5 days for me. Did you read any of my previous posts?
good - I really wish my doctor had been more proactive. Those "tingling" (more like sharp stabbing pains) were the worst. But there is light at the end of the tunnel - just a few more days and the pain should be gone!!!
They painful sensations completely dissapated after the 11-14th day. The "spanx" really did help, but I would have also liked to try the "neurontin". Hang in there!
I just spoke with my doctor, who I would never ever recommend or will I go back to, and requests a prescription for Neurotin. She wants me to try wearing "Spanks" and if pain still extreme by Monday, then she will write the rx. She has never rx'd pain meds for the procedure and is very hesitant to rx them now. (I don't think she has done many procedures!)
I am 7 days post procedure and am in terrible pain daily. The doctor I saw specifically said there would only be mild pain and that she does not prescribe pain medication. I am afraid to call and let them know of my discomfort, but I am also afraid that I won't be able to work a full day tomorrow!
