I'm really sorry that you feel bad. I'm really surprised that there is cream with Botox. What is the name of this product? We all know that Botox injections can cause serious side effects. I've never heard of cream with Botox. Theoretically would side effects of this product may be milder than the injections. Hope you feel better soon! I really appreciate if you write down the name of the product so I can check it out. Maria

    Hi Kasia!

I am at 22 mark after Botox injection. I still have symptoms, but you can live with them.
I got an email from a person in Sweden who had the same problem 2006-2008. She became well after approximately 2 years. She wrote that the other victims that she felt became also healthy. It has taken 1-3 years. I really hope so. So I have a year left to fight. Hope it was a positive post.

    Hugs
    Maria

Ps. I have been suffering from nubmness and breathing difficulties as well. Thought I had MS and heart failure, but all this was Botox. This is a scandal that the public knows nothing, and it seems so, they do not want to know either. Congratulations to Allergan!

    Hi, Mimi!

I am sorry that you suffer.
There is a way to see if Botox has spread beyond injections site:
    1. Mouse test. They take your blood and injects it into the two mice. The mouse who get anti-toxin survive. The test must be done as quickly as possible.
The other way is EMG (but it is not always significant).
    Your symtoms (clinical picture).
Unfortunately, many doctors deny that there is a connection between botox injection and the patient's symptoms. Most members on that side have experienced this miscalculation. If you want to know more, you can contact me privately.

    You are welcome!

PS. You can not get this poison från your system. The only way is to get antitoxin. The antitoxin must be given as soon as possible after onset of symptoms.

    Hi, 1fireflyinoh!
Unfortunately, this may involve iatrogenic botulism. I do not want to scare you but it's better to be prepare and know what you should say to the doctors. Your symptoms may disappear but they may continue to develop in different ways and probably some go into relapse. I am 20 month after Botox and feel much better now but it was a long journey.
The only correct treatment for botulism is antitoxin to be given as soon as possible after the onset of symtoms. It is smart to contact the hospital and tell them about your symptoms. You say that you suspect iatrogenic botulism. Everything must be documented!
There are tests to prove the botulism: mouse test; EMG.
If you have any questions, please contact me privately. Leave your e-mail!

    Do not wait!

    Maria
