Hi Chloe, actually that is the only thing I am not happy about regarding my surgery. The skin around my bb was too thin to pull down to the incision line so I now have a vertical scar where my old bb was. My ps says its not a big deal and he can revise it easily. (In fact he did tell me that he would need to revise it on Day1 but I was too doped up to remember). Mine is annoying as it comes up a good inch & a half above my incision which is nice and low. It didn't start out that way, but as I healed it seemed to get narrower and longer. When I go back in May (surgery was 1/10) we will discuss it then. So no prob no low cut bikinis for me this summer :-) I am curious if anyone else has had this issue and if anyone can share about a (old) bb revision...?

Hi Megan, my swelling is usually pretty low....like my waistline (@bb) is fairly normal & then the swelling is from a bit below the bb to my incision. You could prob wear something that shows ur waist but that isn't 2 tight from that down. If u do go with an empire waist I don't think u will look preggers. I would wait before buying anything until closer to the event as you will have a better idea of what will work. Also advise shopping l8 in the day as I assume the formal is in the evening & u will b a similar size, as the swelling tends to be worse twds the end of the day :-)

Hi Megan, re ur implant size...ur measurements r almost identical to mine (5'5" & 135-142lbs). Despite being told I could go up to a 425, I went with 325 & I love them. They fill out my clothes nicely, without feeling I have to go up a size to fit them in. I am not running r doing class yet but I think they will feel ok. I went bra shopping (4wks post op yesterday) and it turns out I am a 34D...wasn't expecting that but enjoying it. My hubbie loves the size, but then again he didn't want huge, like urs. Its ur body & ur decision...u will b the onethe carrying them around & trying to work out :-)

Hi Megan. Re the exercise, I am 3 weeks post op & am currently walking briskly for a couple of miles, doing some light weights (no chest stuff), and some leg lift type excercises that don't engage my abs. I feel I could do more but am trying not to push it as I would hate to set myself back. Everyone is different & I know I am lucky to be feeling so good. I posted a detailed account of my first 3 wks on my treatment review (Looking for Tips). Can't wait to see how it all works out for u.

I am 3.5 wks today & I am going out tonight. I could possibly handle some light dancing but that's not part of the plan :-)
I am still in soft bras and swelling a fair bit but I went back to work in business dress on Wed & I just wore longer looser tops to hide the swelling (as I will be doing tonight) & no one seemed to notice.
You may want to give some thought to what to wear as hopefully that will be ur biggest issue. Good luck & have fun!
