I am having the procedure 1-4-12. I am concerned about the neck lift. Anyone had trouble swallowing after procedure. Sometimes I have a problem with food not going down easily now especially if I have my head turned slightly to either side.I'm worry that the tightening of the neck might make it worse.I have had other work done by a plastic surgeon(not on my face), about 10 years ago he was not able to predict the results would be exactly what I imagined,and they were not what I hoped for, but they were what I expected. I would not be comfortable with a doctor if he/she didn't tell me about any possible complications that could result from a procedure. My 1st surgery cost twice what we are talking here and after 10 years I still have numbing and even some minimal discomfort, but I would do it again I am happy with the results. I consulted with the surgeon who did my first surgery about this. The price from him was for an actual neck and jaw lift with lipo.was almost double the cost of the LSL. Also the actual lift would be much more invasive and require more down time, which I don't have. In addition It would be such a major change that I would need to have my eyes and brow done. That put the cost at about $19,000. Too much for my budget. Besides I'm not looking for something that extreme. Even so I hope I'm happier with the results than Cindy51. Nobody wants to pay good hard earned money to be unhappy. Wish me luck!!!
