The overall texture of the face changed, unfortunately the acne scars got a little better but not what I was expecting, I guess there is really no treatment for acne scars...

Yes, all the discoloration and peeling disappeared completely after the first 10 days. I haven't had time to take new pictures but I will do it today or tomorrow before my second treatment (which is due tomorrow) My skin is back to normal. Kimberly3033 now that you have done your 3rd treatment how is it? Let me know, thanks

Awalk, thank you for your comments. My doctor is not new to this treatment, if he is not aware of possible complications and how to treat them I would be petrified! He has over 20 years of Dermatology experience and he is a diplomate of the American Board of Laser Surgery. Please allow me to continue relating my experience as I finish my treatment before you put other comments (and I don't mean it in a rude way). This way my post can be informative of my own experience with this doctor. I will post some pictures if I can!

Awalk I don't doubt any of your claims nor the negative results that you had, but what I don't understand is why you would be reluctant of not disclosing the name of the center and Doctor that performed your treatment? Myself and another person has asked you for this, which I think is far more important than anything else but you have not responded. This is not really a confidential matter as you can even denounce malpractice in your state and the doctor's name will be posted online if found guilty. Everytime I read the links that you post on this board, they make no sense to me. They are very technical but they are not specific to the fraxel treatment. How does the 12 year old pic that you show above relate to fraxel? I have read so many things about your case that I think I want to get the actual company that makes Fraxel involved. If Fraxel truly degenerates skin tissue, it should be investigated and stopped. But if your case was an isolated case due to malpractice, it should also be corrected on all your posts, and I am saying this as a person that is looking for useful information about the treatment before getting it.
