Active Fx Ruined my Skin

This is day 8 and I am noticing that the small amount of crows feet I had to begin with are even WORSE AND MUCH DEEPER than they were before (WHEN I SMILE). I don't know when my face will stop being 'pink' to the point of needing a ton of makeup to look normal. That, in addition to the AWFUL zits that surround my mouth making me look like I have herpes!! I am SOOOOOO angry I had this procedure done. I didn't even need it. My skin looked really good before, even the doctor said I had really nice skin, (THEN WHY DID HE WANT TO DO TOTAL FX ON ME? - HE SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT I DIDN'T NEED IT, IT WOULDN'T HELP THE SCARS TOO MUCH.) I only had a few acne scars in a few spots, which, by the way, look exactly the same, maybe a little worse because I have a huge pimple forming right on top of a scar, drawing more attention to it. If you're skin is already clear, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Obagi Nu Derm products works so much better than any laser costing only a fraction of the price.

I am almost 40 years old and I just had deep/active fx so that I could address the icepick scarring that I've suffered with for 20 years. Since it has only been 6 days, I don't know if it is going to help the scarring because I still see all the scars. I will tell you, however, that by day 5, I began to get the WORST pimples that I've ever had in my life. I literally may end up with more scarring just due to the fact the all of these huge cystic pimples keep appearing even though I am doing everything the doctor told me to do by keeping my face moist with Aquaphor. (probably the cause of the pimples, but your HAVE to use it) If I see a whitehead, though, I am not strong enough to refrain from squeezing out the head, and my doctor told me not to touch my face, but I haven't touched it too much. The pimples come in full force and don't seem to let up. And you will get TONS of whiteheads a week after you get active fx, so unless you do not pick at your face habitually, don't do this procedure because you will make your face look worse. And you have olive complexion, which I have heard many times causes hyperpigmentation. I believe you will regret spending the money on something that will make you look worse and cause you to have to hide in your home for weeks. (5 days downtime is what they tell you but it is a bit of an exaggeration) I'm sure you don't look bad right now. If I could go back in time, I would have NOT done it.

I live in central Florida. If you are willing to drive to Winter Park, he charges $1850.00 for deep fx AND active fx. but be prepared for a much longer downtime than anticipated
