hi rarod! I definately think working on leg and back muscles really helped my recovery! I too hated those darn drains and was so happy to have them out. I guess I was lucky that my breasts didn't bother me at all. Funny how after time the whole thing seems so mild and easy, but I guess I was lucky and did heal very well and very quickly. I have healed fantastically and don't feel like I had surgery at all anymore. Robbins did a great job. I hope to post some pics of my scars to help newbies see what post surgery a few months out looks like...eventually I will get to it (i hope lol).

Thanks VMTimeForMe! I have been away from home for a while and haven't checked my email, etc. I am feeling amazing and starting to see muscles move under my new tummy! I am very pleased with how I'm healing and feeling. I need to update soon and post new pics!

hey momwboys, I would check with your PS on his scar therapy recommendations....after reading about Ruby's silicone strips, I asked my PS about them (they sound pretty cool), but my PS did not want me to use them. He said they took too long to work and were too expensive in his opinion. My PS told me to use Mederma Advanced 1x daily application (walmart) and I think it is working wonderfully for me. Of course, I am not pushing anything...just letting you know so you have the info.

Thank you Albany!!! I was cleared to wear underwire bras because I only had a crescent lift (stitches on the top of my areolas). I guess I have dropped and fluffed? My left breast is still a bit more swollen than the right, which is strange because I am right handed and you would think my right breast would be more swollen because I use it more. The difference is barely noticeable though now and gets better daily. The PS said I was pretty close to the size I would stay. I fill a D cup up pretty well, so if I did go down a bit, I think..I would still be pretty full. I just can't get over how well bras fit now! Every single bra I tried on at VS fit beautifully. I used to get so frustrated with my A/small B because the bra makers would put push up padding on the bottom and I always needed padding on the upper part! lol
