I looked into both thermage and titan before I ended up going with the titan. Thermage was more expensive $2500 for one treatment vs. $1500 for 3 titan treatments plus a series of peels. (Although my dermatologist was trying to get me to do titan with her for $3000 for one treatment and $1500 for a follow up which she said would likely be necessary.) The thermage people said that titan would hurt more and the titan people said that thermage was more painful. So, cost won me over and I went with titan. I'm 42. I have to say that I would notice a difference immediately after the treatments -- my skin would be tighter, my jowels appeared reduced. But, I'm not buying the idea that it continues to progress with the development of new collagen. It's been six months since my treatments and I am seeing my jowels appear. Plus, my titan person told me I need to continue the treatments every six months, or at least once a year. So, I paid $1200 for 3 treatments and 6 peels, now they want $600 for one follow up. Did I see immediate results? Yes, slight at best. Do I believe in continued improvement or lasting results. Not so much. So, now I'm back to wondering if Thermage would have achieved better results.
