I've not needed to go back at all. I do however go get Botox injections around my eye and forehead as needed which over time has been less and less, which is wonderful!
My recovery time was relatively quick, my stitches were in approx. 5 days and soon as they came out I healed really quick! The only pain I had was when I woke up from surgery, I remember burning. My husband asked if they could give me some pain meds, and by the time I was home, my burning was gone, and never had any pain after that. The most important thing is that you stay ahead of the pain with your meds. Take them as prescribed, don't miss a dose, then start weening yourself off when appropriate. I was swollen for the first year or so, but only I and my immediate family knew that. I was at a wedding a few months after surgery and non of my relatives knew I had had the surgery. They thought I looked refreshed and possibly gained weight, but they were shocked when I told them, I have family who are not shy about speaking up either. So it was a real testament to my surgery.
Check out your doctors references, call them ask for photos. People call me all the time from my doctors office.
Thank you Megan for your support.
"wth" is one of those whom if they see something good in someone, they're going to rip that someone apart! It is plain and simple Bullying!
I know what my truth is, I'm NOT a liar, or a scammer. I have NOTHING to benefit for making any kind of post on here. In fact, I'm normally the one who won't post because of Bullies like "wth". So, lesson learned.
