You are not alone!! It is very common to go through a little depression in your first week or two post-op! I know I was depressed my first few days. I didn't have "pain" per-say, but I was fatigued, not sleeping well, having trouble getting comfortable, and my breasts looked WEIRD! Like little cones. For me the depression lifted as soon as I got my energy back, but I wasn't really totally happy with my breasts until about two weeks ago (I am just at the three month mark!!) I swelled unevenly, and they looked awkward. It's an adjustment, but for me not being in pain every day anymore is 100% worth it!

It's just hard because we do it to feel better, and to look better. Then what do you get the first week? You feel TERRIBLE and you look funny!! No matter how much you have prepared yourself your gut reaction is going to be that it wasn't worth it. Wait at least 3-6 months to decide hoe you really feel. For me though those feelings passed quickly, and even when they were swollen unevenly I was happy. I could run/watch movies/read for hours/etc. without pain, and that was way more important to me then any old bra size.

Nope!!! And if you read my review you will see I was freaked out by my new cup size (wanted a full D, and ended up a full C/small D).... Even that aside, I don't miss those suckers for one nanosecond. Not ever. Not ever!! I am so much more comfortable. No more back pain ever. I can run, exercise, etc and I can wear all sorts of styles of cloths now! Plus, the main effect of going from an H cup to a super extra full C/small D for me is that almost no one noticed my boobs looked smaller because it made my whole body look so much smaller! I swear it was like instantly losing 25lbs. A friends boyfriend even cornered me one night and gushed that he had to know what diet I was on because I "had lost at least 25lbs. in the past few months." Haha! Nope. More like 3 strategically placed ones :)

Haha! It's so true though! Pre-op I used to tell myself that when I worried if I would have an identity crisis... Going from "the girl with boobs" to a normal girl with normal boobs... But then I would remind myself... If I could be confident WITH these ridiculous things I could damn sure be confident without them! And I have been :) Of course, the fact that they are still usually one the bigger side in the room makes me happy.

It's awesome!! I went for a run yesterday and it felt EASY! I hit two miles and thought surely my Nike + was off, so I pulled up GPS on my phone and remapped my route! Haha! Sure enough it HAD been two miles. I guess not having to wear so many bras you can't take a breath makes a HUGE difference!

Water park sounds exciting :) I will have to give that one some thought.... I never felt comfortable places like that!

Thank you :) We will see where I am in a few months. The reality is that there is still a lot of swelling making them hold a stiff shape. They still have a good bit of healing to do.
