Hi. Just to reassure you, I was a large 36DD when I explanted and didn't hate the way they looked afterward. Now, over a year later, I love my boobs and it's the best decision I ever made. Trust yourself to do what's right for you, don't listen to anyone else.
Hi. I had 6 days off work already planned for mine, it was a very simple explant, the didn't remove the capsules. I was told not to do any lifting during that time, also not to have a proper shower until after my 1 week check up. Strip washing or a shallow bath was ok. He advised no exercise at the gym at all until 4 weeks and only lower body between then and 6 weeks. I was feeling very sore for that first week as the bra was hurting my incisions so I took his advice and did absolutely nothing for that time. I had a proper shower and washed my hair after they changed my dressings (1 week) and said I could shower and drive.
My advice would be to have as much help as you can. You'll be having surgery so pamper yourself afterwards and get as much rest as you can. You might be feeling invincible if you have no pain but your body still needs time to get over the shock. I know everyone is different and I'm by no means a doctor but I'm of the firm belief that not resting properly can only bring trouble.
Hi! I hope your op goes well. I had my implants out last December and have never looked back. They were so large, I couldn't hug properly. Well, it was only about a month ago that I got my first real hug with a chap since my op, and it was wonderful. I could really hug him with all my might. That itself was worth it for me. :0)
