Bumpy Start....to New Smooth Road Ahead! - Memphis, TN

Hi ladies! It has almost been a yr! I left off in pain and scared of the out come well.... I am a size 38c possibly b....kinda small. Sometimes I look down like where r they hiding. I mostly don't wear bras but I where tanks that fit. I actually ended up with an infection under my rt breast due to dr removing steri strip way to early and skin separated so that left a very ugly scar and tough skin patch under it(quarter size) and the scarring is thick and awful looking. I'm just being honest. This dr could have done a much better job on my scars. I feel ashamed if someone has to look at my breasts now. Went to my gyn for annual now I have to get an ultrasound because I have so many lumps which is supposed to be normal buti have one little ball under the rt breast that she wants to check out.... Kinda scary but I should be fine. I was told that the lumps should go away after so long but which a lot did but there are still some areas. Overall, I kinda wish I went to another dr that cared more about after appearance. I remember telling him I really didn't want terrible scars and he blew that off. I knew there would be scars and I accepted that but he made me feel like I should be concerned about feeling in my breasts other than scar. I'm 34 so u kno looks do mean something. Overall I'm ok with them, I have feeling in my nipples and I still have a little area in rt breast where still numbness is but it's getting better. Nice to talk! Good luck!

Thanks ladies! I think I did very well! My dr saw me today to make sure I was ok. I was swelling quite a bit but he said everything is normal. I had to get stronger pain meds. They r working cause I've been sleeping all day! Hopefully I'll be getting around better tomoro. As for right now...sleep time

Wow u are healing so good!! I hop my doc does a great closure like yours! What have you been using for your scars any lotion or silicone?

They look great! Im sure it is just swelling and it will go down soon. I purchased Arnica and Bromelain for help with healing and swelling. (homeopathic natural herb) I have researched it alot and it helps with bruising and swelling. I hope you love them in a lil more time.
