One of the most important things is that you feel comfortable with your doctor and develop trust, because you are leaving something very important in his/her hands. The thought of it is very nerve racking, but the experience is well worth the outcome that you get to enjoy for the rest of your life : ) is it fun? Of course not....I wouldn't lie and say that it is. But it is definitely worth it so if it will make you happy, then go for it !

I was already getting a septoplasty and the bump shaved down...that was covered by insurance because I had documentation showing that I had fractured my nose 4 years ago. Since the plastic surgeon was already going to be fixing the bump, he charged me an additional $1800 for the tip and nostrils. So that was the only actual cosmetic part and insurance wouldn't cover that. I know that every surgeon is different. I was told that normally what I had done usually would cost about $4000. Rhinoplasty's are not cheap procedures, but they are worth it.

Thank you and I wish you the best of luck : ) its tough, but definitely well worth it. Your confidence really boosts once the bandage comes off! I can't wait to see it progress as the swelling goes Down
