You say you have "leopard" skin....it is possible that you hyper-pigmented and need a script for at least hydroquinone 4% this will help with the dark patches but will make you highly sensitive to the sun . In addition, you need to use a high SPF of 30 or above......I hope this information helps but it needs to be discussed with your dermatologist. I hope this information helps.....
The series of treatments should be spaced approximately 4 - 6 weeks apart. When you get to your desired result, it is a good idea to space the peel 2 - 4 times a year to maintain your result.
The only treatment that is out there without the downtime is the Clear and Brilliant laser. Some may consider it a "baby" faxel. It works well with dark spots and for tone and texture. A series of 3 - 8 treatments may be necessary depending on the severity of your condition. Most importantly, in addition to Chemical peels, it is necessary to have a good home care routine such as Retin A in the PM and Vitamin C serum in the AM before a good SPF.
Give the peel until day 3.....you should begin to peel providing you followed the directions accordingly. Enjoy and moisturize...most of all, wear an SPF of 30 +
I just purchased the Vi Peel to use in my Medical Spa. The Vi Peel I purchased included tiny vials of the Vi Peel Percision to add to the Vi Peel as a booster for a deeper peel. I believe this might be the reason for the mixed reviews on the pain experienced. I am looking forward towards seeing my clients results with and without the use of the booster.
