I had it injected into my sunken cheeks after I lost 65 pounds in a period of 3 years with a good diet. My face therefore needed more volume. The results were good; it was painless (except for a bit of a pinch) but all well worth it. Cost, around $2000. It's 8 years later and it still looks good, no problems. When you consider to get this treatment, ENSURE IT'S DONE BY A GOOD PLASTIC SURGEON, not just a general dr and you'll be fine.
