My recovery was easy, but I only had the tummy tuck, so maybe that's why? I stopped wearing spanx about 3 months out, and I've been running and working out regularly since 8 weeks post op. I still have a small area at the top of my left thigh that feels numb, that's probably the weirdest thing, but my scar is flat and mostly faded. I would absolutely do it again!

Trust me, Marie, I know how you feel. The hardest thing for me was to sit around after surgery - I was used to working out daily. But your body needs time to heal, and after all you've just put it through, you don't want to risk screwing something up! You'll get there, just give yourself time.

Marie, I had a TT with muscle repair on 1/3/12 and slowly started running (alternating with walking) at about 6 1/2 weeks out. My dr wanted me to wait until 8 weeks but I started back slowly a little sooner. Just make sure you go slow to start and walk when you need to. The more I healed the better my running got, and now I'm totally back to normal and running daily. Good luck! Michelle

Hi Pink! I can't believe almost a year has gone by! I'm still very happy with my results - my scar is mostly faded, just a few spots where it still has a little color. I still notice twinges in my abs from time to time, especially above my belly button, usually while I'm working out or after. Ad I'm still numb in parts along my incision. All in all, though, I love my results. I still weight exactly the same as when I went into surgery - maybe I need to put down the holiday cookies lol. How's everyone else doing?? Happy Holidays!!

Its good to hear from you! I'm doing well. I still have some numbness around my scar, mostly on my left side. My scar is fading nicely -- still purple in some areas, but I'm surprised at how much duller it is now, plus its flat. I've been running a lot, though really not doing ab work other than planks, etc. I ran a half-marathon on Saturday, and now I'm training for a marathon in October. Its crazy how much better I'm running since the TT, so I'm very glad I had it done!
