i talked to my dermotologist who is very well known in the area where i live. She does not provide IPL Photofacial treatment at her office. However, i was surprised to hear her say she highly recommends it and did not think it causes damage. She said if she had room for one in her office, she would provide this treatment. Such a confusing topic with so many opinions.
Wow. i am in the same boat. i had just purchased a treatment on a groupon type website. These comments were a huge reality check for me. No my skin is not perfect but i do not want to risk my face in an effort to make it so. Thank you very much to everyone who shared their photos and stories. I think Time heals all wounds... and i hope that is true for your IPL nightmares.
