yeah, I would just say, "I'm having trouble breathing through my nose, and aditionally, I'm unhappy with my nose's appearance/shape whatever, is there any way we could kill two birds with one stone?" I was super upfront about it!
well I had a deviated septum, but I've had many nose "traumas" while I was cheerleading competitevely, (dropped on my face, elbowed in the face, etc.) My guess is yours as to what they classified that as for insurance purposes. Where did you make your appointment?
I could breathe out of my nose as soon as the doctor took out the packing on the one week post-op appointment. Until then, I had to breathe out of my mouth, which I didn't even notice until I tried to go to sleep and my mouth would get all dried out and my lips chapped. It def wasn't the hardest part tho so I wouldn't worry about that if I were you!
