  Glad you are feeling better!! That surgery sure does take a lot out of you!! More than what I expected! I'm 8 weeks and am finally feeling like I am back to normal!!

  I have never tried Milk of Mag, but it may be worth a try if it an issue with you. Coffee also helped for me. Made my husband do a Starbucks run every few days. LOL! The Metamucil tablets really did help. I took 2 in the morning along with the colace. With me, I had to really watch being constipated because of the extra pain with the vagioplasty. Just trying to push to have a bm is just awful! You don't realize how much you use your ab muscles!!!

  I started taking Metamucil tablets along with the colace and that seemed to really help. Colace alone just didn't seen to do the job! Happy Mother's Day! We are going to Orange County park today. Never been there before, but they have a lot of activities for the kids. Hopefully my swelling doesn't get too bad!!! Ughhhhh!! The swelling is a pain in the butt!!!

  I had surgery 6 weeks ago! You really need a good month to recover. I thought I'd be up and about in 3 weeks, but it took a little longer than that. I was up walking around and doing things, but I got tired very easily. A week and a half after surgery we went to a party and just had a busy weekend and I paid the price for it on Mon. I swelled up and was just wiped out!! Stay ahead of the pain meds and start taking stool softeners! My first time ever constipated!! LOL! I slept with pillows under my knees for at least 3 weeks. It was just so much more comfortable. I just started running again this week. I need to build up my endurance since I have not been running for 6 weeks. I also went home with a catheter, but I also had vagioplasty. Im so happy I had that for the night, but I was so happy to get it out the next day!! Good luck to you!! Keep me posted on your progress. I got a lot of great tips from this website!! Hope you first night goes smooth for you!!

  I had it done with Dr. Brahme at the LaJolla Plastic Surgery Center next to Scripps hospital. He is awesome!! Good luck to you!!
