I have blue eyes and I too have been hesitant to try Latisse due to the risk of possible change in iris color the advertisement mentioned. However, I did extensive online research that caused me to change my mind about trying Latisse. *Not only were the reported cases of iris color change extremely rare, but more importantly, the reported cases of iris color change occured only in users who used the product in liquid form as eyedrops to treat glaucoma. No cases of iris color change have been reported due to using Latisse for eyelash growth.* After speaking with my dermatologist who also backed up what I'd read online, I bought a bottle of Latisse 2 days ago. I've been getting eyelash extensions for the past 4 years and I'm tired of the wear and tear on my lashes, not to mention spending the money and time to maintain them. Once I felt assured that my blue eyes were highly unlikely to change color I decided it was time to try Latisse.
One final note: I too hate the application brushes that come with Latisse. I will be using a eyeliner brush and dipping it into the cap as directed. Several Latisse users I've spoken to have commented on how doing so not only makes the bottle last longer, it seems to help prevent the possible "browning of the eyelid skin" also mentioned.
Anyway...hope this helped.
