Awalk, I'm sorry to see what happened to you. I had fraxel restore done three times on my face and never got your results. However, a year after my procedure I noticed some more brown spots popping up? I'm not sure if this is old age or if theres more potential for brown spots after laser treatment? Could it be that the setting the doctor used on you were higher than he told you? The restore is non ablative and seems relatively safe. Is there a way you can sue the doctor? Obviously you probably signed some no-sue agreement before performing the procedure. I haven't seen anything bad happen to people undergoing the fraxel restore procedure. I was thinking about fraxeling my face again, but your story has gotten me to think about it more. The doctor I consulted was going to do 50 joules to my face.

When can you shower after the procedure? I guess you shouldn't shower with high pressure for the first 2 weeks?
