Are you gaining in the lipo areas or just the areas that were not lipoed?

So you don't take the progesterone but you take the estrogen and you gained no weight/fat on estrogen? That's interesting.

Are you on hormones? I am and I think the adipose tissue multiplies and grows back if you are on HRT. I only take progesterone 200 mg, which causes me less weight gain than when I include the Estrogen, but it still appears to be reloading the fat cells into my whole body, not just the lipoed areas. Although there are clinical studies that are showing a faster growth of adipose tissue for those taking Progesterone post liposuction. And NO doctors or plastic surgeons will admit that or disclose that prior to surgery.

I have an extraordinarily slow metabolism. My blood pressure is 90/55 and I'm 52 years old. So yes I can exercise and am in good health, but have never been able to eat the caloric intake of my peers. Both of my parents were morbidly obese for this reason. 1100 for me is not weight loss, it's just maintaining unfortunately! I hate it but it's the way it is.

I think what bothers me most is that the plastic surgeons know that adipose fat tissue, although they remove the cells, can grow in the remaining cells at the same rate as before the lipo. The stem cell research is interesting and probably explains why we gain in certain areas. But the disingenuous approach of many plastic surgeons is what's troubling to me. They KNOW there have been studies done of adipose fat tissue in menopausal women post liposuction and those studies show that fat will regrow in liposuctioned areas, but they don't tell us that prior to the surgery. It's sort of a bait and switch routine that benefits only them. I am still thinner than I was before the lipo, and my skin looks tight, but my jeans are getting tighter and that's not ok!
