I agree with your friend. You definetly will need two weeks off and complete rest. Almost every plastic surgeon I have come across has the drains stay in for about a week. Secondly, its difficult to move around even after a week. I went back to work after two weeks and came home extremely exhausted and sore.
I highly recommend you reschedule your surgery, and allow yourself atleast two weeks to recover.
I had a tough couple of days post op. I got a cough and man did that hurt. Today was my second appointment with PS to get the drain out this time. I feel so much better now. Still walking hunched over for another week per PS orders. I will get my stitches out next friday, then I can try to walk straight up. Overall now that my cough has gone away I am feeling better. On a side note, I will have to say this, man does my a$$ hurt from laying down/sitting down this much..lol
I am so glad to see that you are doing well and infections free. yeahhhh
Sorry its been a while since I have checked up on you guys.
NewMe my thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope everything goes well with your BB at the PS office today. Dont worry NewMe its nothing a little neosporin and a good antibiotic cant fix. You will do great..
