I am going to have the gastric sleeve done just after the first of the year. From what I have read and heard from others, it is going to replace the gastric band, but the results for many people is that the sleeve will work as well as the bypass with a little more flexability with eating. We'll see. I am excited about it. Iam a self payer so I can have it done soon. If I hadn't had a trip next week and a cruise in December, I would have it done next week.
