The first time I had 15 shots in my face and they pulled my neck muscles to tight on the left side of my face and the cut under my chin where he had stitched was all pucker like a gathered sleeve. The second time I went to his office and he did the twight to fix my chin at the same time he did fraxnel for age spots and broken blood vessels. My face swell up and the stitches popped open under my chin that night so, I called the next day and the only thing that could be done because of the swelling was to do the sterile strips across the chin incision. The incision healed nice but the whole left side of my face drop and I was back to square one on the left side, not to mention the Fraxnel did nothing but dry my skin out for six weeks. I had no results from Fraxel and when I woke up nurses were doing the Fraxel and they had not quit finish. So, I am not sure who proformed the Fraxel. The Third time I went to the LSL Center More shots. Dr. Kim said he was going to redo the whole mini lift but when I got there he decided to do the neck. He only cut around my ears not down the back of my hairline like the first time. He pulled the muscles on the left side so tight when I yawn or eat on that side I have pain and the left side of my face is warm all the time. Also the skin from the jowls ended up between the corner of my mouth and chin line leaving skin folds on the left side and still have puckering under chin incision. He also did my bottom eyelids and on the right side one stitch left a mole looking bum. The fraxel reduced the bump some but, it's still visiable and their is scarring on both eyes. I have had a general surgeon do better stitching than Dr. Kun Kim. Oh the third time his son watched the proceeder which, Doc asked and I didn't mind but after the half ass results I wondered if it was such a good decision. The short of it is I am in pain, depressed and wish I had never trusted anyone with my face. That's the short story. I wish you the best of luck! Discuss this outcome with your surgeon.
Susan I totally agree with you about the local but be prepared for about 15 injections if your having your neck and face done. I don't mind needles but it's uncomfortable. I think I would have preferred a general or twight. I had the Faxel done to remove the age spots and broken blood vessels without success that was a waste of money. I don't know maybe it's just my skin type but I stayed out of the sun all summer and always use sunscreen 30 on my face. I am beginning to believe a lot of this is hype. I wasted 10,000.00. I should have ran when a lady in the waiting room told me she had STAPH.Her Dr. was running late and she had to be back at her home so they could deliver the I.V. antibotic. She had a different Dr. than I. I hope you get the look you want without complications. As you can tell I am not real sold on this Corporation. I should have gone to a private practise. Again don't sign anything releasing them of responsibility. Remember it is a Corporation. I do wish you all the best!

Dr. Kun Z. Kim in Atlanta, Georgia. The want you to sign a release so they are not responsible for anything that goes wrong. I signed the first one but not the second and third. I would advise against releasing them from a bad outcome. I will probably have to pay again to have my face and neck fixed but, I have a different plastic surgeon who comes highly recommended by a lawyer friend. Do research!

I have more wrinkles and uneven sagging since I had the the Custon life Style Lift. I have had two other surgeries to fix the uneven sagging on the left side of my neck without sucess. I was 57 years old, March of 2010 at time of 1st procedure. I just wanted to get rid of the jowels. a year later having had two repair surgeries and the Fraxel laser treament. I look worst than when I started. I would not recommend the Custom Life Style Lift to my worst enemy. The scarring behind my right ear makes it hard to get a short hair cut. My hair cut has to cover up the scar. The one under my chin I can't hid, nor can I hide the drooping jowels, with the wrinkles on the left side of my face from my mouth to neck and puckers underneath my chin. To say the least it has been a nightmare.
