I'm sorry you are experiencing that : ( I had a similar experience on Accutane. I got super depressed from it and went to the doctor and he cut my dose in half. It helped a bit, but I was still depressed from it. I went off Accutane without finishing the whole 6 month treatment. I only did it for 4 months. Fortunately, my mood recovered. But I have read about people who still suffered after going off the drug : / I hope you start feeling better soon. I totally understand what you are going through.

Get the derms as well as being on some kind of antibiotic for a couple months. The 2 work really well together. I get mostly microderms, the chemical peels I only get ever 4 months or so. Usually it is derms. I will ask my esthetician what type of chemical peels they are. I think she varies them each time.

Thanks Britt! I started feeling better as soon as I went off Accutane. It really caused severe depression! I just remember laying in bed crying all the time when I was on it. I would not recommend it to anyone... From what I read, some people were affected even after they went off the Accutane. So I am glad that I was able to pull out of it when I went off it.

Thank you! It was hard posting my before picture. I dont ever show anyone these pictures, but I thought my experience might help others. And I agree, I don't think it's too expensive for maintaining my skin. Yes, when you get a chemical peel your face peels and is bright red for a couple days. My cousin got one right before our family reunion and I had forgotten to mention to her that there is some down time when you get them... lol.
