If you want them to peel off, don't put anything on them but hydrogen peroxide a couple times a day and scrub it in and it will dry it out and they will peel. If that doesn't work you will need to have them lasered off.
I wish I had seen this comment sooner. I would have told you to stop using the moisterizing ointment and apply hydrogen peroxide on them and scrub it in well 2 or 3 times per day. When the brow is still open and the wound is open the peroxide would lighten and dry the ink and it would not be as likely to take. Since it has been awhile, the brow is healed and closed the only way to get it out is with a laser or with glycolic acid. The acid solution will work but it can leave a small scar so the laser is a better option but can be pricey.
I understand. Just make sure you go to someone with at least 5 years of experience and get lots of references. Make sure they are a member of the Society for Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. You can look up members in your area at the following web site: http://www.spcp.org/findatechnician/united.htm
I am in the Naples Florida area one week out of every month and the rest of the time I am working in Macon Georgia. Where do you live? I am a member and would love to do your lips but I don't know if you are close by. Lips usually take two visits to get the color you want but once healed, you will love it. I use both the softap, hand tool method and the machine method and feel confident that you will love my work.
