Hey friend! It's always awesome when you find your body twin. I was always on the lookout for mine, lol. It really does help this process. So happy for all the ladies here that have gone through this or are about to. This website has been the best! My sister and I were obsessed with finding our body twins and researching the procedure. It was exhausting! I am so happy with the results and I hope it is everything you expect it to be. Just keep in mind that the main thing you HAVE to have is patience! There are no short-cuts. I have always been the type to do what I wanted and even if I was told to rest, I would say, "dont worry, I can handle it, I don't need a break.". You definitely have to take it easy and you will go through a few " annoying" days but there was never a day that I regreted it. It's just the best feeling not having to worry or be self conscious about your body! I can't wait to hear how it goes for you! Only a month ago I was in your place and corresponding with my body twin before my surgery. It is so worth it! Don't doubt your decision!

Definitely weird not feeling anything in tummy area, mainly up to belly button all along the incision, but seeing my flat tummy makes it not that big of a deal. Feels just like when you you get numbed up at the dentist and your lips feel all huge but when you look at them they look normal, lol! The compression garment my ps gave me was kinda like a swimsuit. I dont think they make them for short bodies like mine and im sure its supposed to come up right under my boobs, but it was crushing my ribs so I would pull it all the way up over them, lmao! It looked pretty funny walking around like a little sausage in my granny swimsuit with drains
    hanging off of my sides.

Saw your new pic and you are looking awesome! I cant wait to be drain free and compression garment free! I most likely will ditch the garment as soon as they say I can, unless I swell really bad. The only reason being that for some reason, my body does not like tight clothing. If I wear something even a bit too snug, my tummy will hurt or my ribs will hurt and its just really painful. I have loosened my garment at bedtime only and it just feels so much better. I really just can't wait to get back to feeling myself again, sitting in the house is just making me crazy!

Thank you so much Kimmers. It really helps to hear that. Starting to understand why my ps prescribed the xanax for a good nights sleep before. Its saturday morning (3 am) and my brain is racing. Can't stop thinking about surgery. My body is freaking out on me too, I think I'm more stressed than I realize and my body feels like its tensing up or something. Just want to get through this already so I can get back to normal.
