    Hey gal, sorry for the delayed response. I seldom check my emails these days with work and family taking up the rest of my time. I'm pleased to say I came across an eating programme that really works for me. Like most nutritionist will advise, it's a lifestyle change and it has to be something you are willing to live with. I'm lactose and wheat/ gluten intolerant, something I knew for years now but lately had fallen off the wagon in watching what I eat. The lactose thing got worse so I realized the weight issue is more to do with eating the wrong food(not necessarily unhealthy in general terms because I don't eat much junk or sweets) , but food that my system cannot cope with. I went to see a Dr who is also does acupuncture and he researches and promotes eating the right food for your blood type. Being a scientist myself, I guess it makes more sense to me. I started on 2nd May with a 7-day detox , with the help of accupunture needles keeping the cravings, and thereafter eating strictly food that are recommended for my blood type and I have lost 3,5 kg and I'm more proportional now. The Beyonce butt is nicely sculptured now and I've kept it off. I've lost over 30cm in total between tummy ,bottoms and thighs and I could not believe that I went from 107cm around my butt to 93cm today, and I still lost 7cm around my tummy. I guess the tummy one confirms whole thing that Dr H said that I still have some liquid in my tummy. Even with falling off the wagon over the weekend while in France ( I just couldn't resist French bread and champange, and believe me I'm not a bread or champagne person) I still managed to keep the weight off , bar .5 kg which I'm sure will be sorted by the end of the week. But ladies there is no miracle cure to weight, it's exercise and healthy eating. I personally hate gym but I've now taken to golf so I just go to the golf range, do 30 to 45 mins of gym and then hit balls for 30 mins. It's more enjoyable for me and once my knee is sorted I'll hopefully be able to run. So exercise does not necessarily mean being in a gym, it could be walking , swimming , dancing, whatever you like so my motto is to do enjoyable, fun stuff, that way I know I won't get bored.

    Good luck and speedy recoveries to all those who have join the vaser club. After all the pain and reduced bank balance, it is all worth it!

    Take care!

    HI Everyone,

    I've posted some pics, will post more later in the week. I tried to set up an appointment with Dr H for the 12 week(2 weeks coming up in 2 weeks) check up and to check my now funny belly button because of the stitching but Corrie tells me April 5th. I must say I'm not 100% happy with my results,particularly my tummy and so I'm gonna take a pic and send him. I still have quite a few bumps and I'm wondering if they will ever go away. You can't see on the skin surface but when I stretch, which I do daily, I look like I have cobble stones paving under my skin. Anyone with similar experience with the bumps. I must say this is despite daily massages from day 1 post procedures.

    Take care ladies!

    Hi Vaser Buddies,

    Wow it's been a while. I hope you are all well. @Mo I hope you are healing well. You look good from the pics gal. It seems like a long time ago that I was in agony with pain and I must say I still have not forgotten day 3 and 4 post surgery cause I had never been in so much pain in my life. Now it seems like a distant memory. It's been 9 weeks now and I still wear my granny garment (amazing how you grow fond of these things) and alternate with spanx depending on what I'm wearing. I'm gonna push it until 12 weeks. The swelling has reduced substantially. I still wear the sponge when I go jogging just for comfort. Speaking of running, hey, this butt is beginning to bug me. It seem all the fat has moved to my butt and its evident when I run. Not a pretty sight and feeling. I'm working on it though at gym and with my biokineticist. I don't know if its because the waist is smaller and love handles are gone it has become rather prominent...but I'm not liking it one bit. I give it 2 more months and if it doesn't improve, I'll get the good Doc to sort it out.

    BTW, anyone done bums? How was the experience?

    Healing vibes to all those still in the process!

    Take care!

    Hi Mo, good luck gal. I don't think flying out the same day is a good idea. Cabin pressure might just make you sick.

    HI Nicnacks,

    Hang in there girl. I feel your pain. I used to think nothing would beat childbirth,was I wrong. By far, this vaser tops the list. It might not seem like that now, but it does get better with time. I'm over 3 weeks post and the pain gets better by the day. Do go for the physio, it helps. But make sure you take the painkillers an hour before the treatment cause it is VERY SORE. The love handles are by far the worst. I have found new use for the maternity pads,lol....still using them as cushion on the waist. As for the granny lingerie, I feel you babes. I tried my spanx last week and gettig them on was a BIG SCREAMING EINA process. I discovered my dress had a big slit at the back so couldn't wear granny lingerie. The spanx did provide the support for the tummy, but the thighs were not supported so I had to walk and sit systematically...lol...As soon as I got home I was back in my lovely garment. I've bought a whole lot of natural undies and were them underneath to hide that hideous sight with the v-v in a very scary state.

    once again, do take them painkillers gal. and don't be scared to take the sleeping tablet...right dose though please,,,just so your body can get a good rest.

    @Mo, good luck gal.
