I totally understand where you're coming from, both in terms of wanting the lipo and looking for support. Your post was very informative for me - if it wasn't for you I don't think I would have properly understood the risks of smartlipo, or had realistic expectations.
I do see improvement in your latest set of pics, and while you point out the waviness in your thighs, I wonder if it would actually be noticeable to others in person. The reason I say this is that I'm thinking of getting a revision myself because there is some inconsistency that looks clear as day to me, but when I look in a mirror I'm not sure it's really visible, and hence may not be worth going under the knife again for.
I did traditional lipo, and my results are marginal - probably i'm the only one who would notice! But because I notice I do feel it was worthwhile for me.
I guess in the end lipo doesn't take the desired degree of 'edge' off aging and our slowing metabolisms, but this whole thing is a learning process and you are clearly doing the very best you can (working out 5-6 days a week is amazing!). Again - thanks for sharing your experience.
Hi, First off, I wanted to say that by looking at your pictures, I assumed you were in your 20's. Your "before" body was beautiful, and your new body is simply a more slender version of the same body. Honestly, I wouldn't have pegged you as needing lipo given that you have such a good contours, and I can't see any excess fat. I'm glad that you have managed to work out the 'bumps', and would appreciate seeing new photos. I am in a similar boat to you, although I need more "contouring" than you did. I have consulted with Middleton and Rice, and I was very pleased by my consultation with Dr. Rice. Now I'm not sure what to think. Have you managed to find a lipo PS that you are happy with now? I wouldn't mind going for a consultation with him/her. Any advice on Dr's in Toronto would be great - there are so many to choose from, and its just so hard to tell what their strengths/weaknesses might be.
Thanks,
Carmen
